1911 Jews of Kaišiadorys, Žasliai, and Žiežmariai were shot dead in the first place on 26 August 1941. The second place in the deep ravine was chosen for the deliberate mass massacre. At this place, 784 people were shot, including Jewish women, children and old people from Žiežmariai on 29 August 1941. The places are marked with memorial stones.
