Description

In celebration of the first anniversary of the beatification of the Blessed Teofilius, Kaišiadorys adorned itself with an impressive painting – on the back wall of Algirdas Brazauskas Gymnasium, a giant-sized image of the blessed Teofilius appeared. It was the first time in Lithuania that a blessed person was painted on the wall of a secular building. The mural depicting the Blessed Teofilius is a two-dimensional painting as it has two faces of the blessed. On the red background, the second face of the blessed sort of emerging from the depths depicts him as a martyr. The mural of the Blessed Teofilius was painted on the wall of Algirdas Brazauskas Gymnasium in 2018. The author is an artist Tadas Vincaitis and his assistants Justina Sendravičiūtė and Lauryna Stankūnaitė.
