Description

The monument created by architect Stasys Petrauskas in memory of the residents of Kaišiadorys district exiled and deported from the Kaišiadorys railway station in 1941, 1944 – 1953 was sanctified on 14 June 1996. The inscriptions on the memorial plates testify: “Here is the beginning of the exile route of people of Kaišiadorys, 1941 – 1951”; “1941 – Perm region, 1946 – Krasnoyarsk region, 1949 – Irkutsk region, 1951 – Tomsk region”, “Lord, give us endurance”.
