Description

St. Antanas Paduvietis Church. Near Daugailiai in Purviniškės village, Teofilius and his family lived here from 1880 to 1890 (10 years). Unfortunately, the homestead no longer exists. The vocation for the priesthood matures in Daugailiai. The priest Kazimieras Kiršinas (1865–1940), a teacher of vocations, a supporter of the clerics, who also helped Theophile, is buried in the cemetery. After the priesthood celebrations, in 1900, he taught Garniai village children catechism and regained health after seminary.
