Description

The painting of the Blessed Teofilius in the church of Adutiškis (Švenčionys district). The painting has been painted long ago. This is probably the gift of the priest Vitas Urbelis (1878-1973), who came from the Adutiškis parish to the Adutiškis Church. He was close friends with Teofilius since the pastorate in Latvia, and worked throughout his life in Latvia; he is buried in Rezekne. He once visited the bishop Teofilius in Kaunas with the Benedictines.
